What is your SMART SASSY STYLISH goal as illustrated in BikiniKat's Motivational Strategy for the Millennium?
As I continue to do with all my books, I want to educate all women - and even men - about all the fantastic women out there in the world who have done so many fabulous (and in my book about women who kill, Tender Murderers, not-always-so fabulous but always interesting) things.

What kind of SASSY things do you do to achieve your STYLISHNESS?
Six words: thrift shop, thrift shop, thrift shop.

What kind of SMARTS do you need to be SASSY in order to achieve your STYLISHNESS?
I learn from my cats. They are always elegant, always graceful, always stylish (even though they possesss only one garment) and they possess the ability to charm us into waiting on them hand and foot and giving them whatever they want.

What part of your personality helps you achieve your goal?
My intelligence, my talent, my cuteness, my perkiness, my ego.

What part gets in your way?
Did I mention my ego?

Can you tell us a Farting Turtle story?
When I was drawing comics, I had a heck of a time getting published, because nobody in the mainstream comics biz (the only part of comics that paid real money) wanted to hire a girl, especially an infamous feminist. There was this one woman editor at a large independent publisher who was in a position to actually give me some work and I was desperate for work! I ran into her and her sister at a comics convention and she started rhapsodising to her sister about how wonderful I was, how brilliant and talented, how I was a role model for all women... but she never offered me any work. EVER!

How did you overcome that Farting Turtle?
I just walked away from the farting turtle. All the farting turtles! I left the comics biz and became a writer. With a dozen well-received books under my belt I am a very happy person indeed, and I LOVE writing!
